Literal titles have been thrown at me like art director, project manager, architect, illustrator,
designer, artist, dad, husband, skater, bass player and beer enthusiast.
I have a fifteen+ year core background in architecture and design, with 8+ year layers of drawing,
painting, creating vectors, logos, packaging, products, furniture, interiors, houses, skateboards,
apparel, accessories and books.
With the background I have, I have been celebrated for my ability to understand form and
structure as well as diverge into the finer points of style, color and details. I have managed
interns on up to teams. I am comfortable taking and giving direction, playing nice with others or
holing myself away into the late hours flying solo.
My high level of adaptability and strong attention to detail come from my insane amount of ADD
and my passionate love for design and art in all forms. I've hit the streets and I've worked in
firms, and I pride myself on being a destination guy as well as a journeyman.
Far from a jack of all trades, I understand implicitly how the pieces all fit together and most often
enjoy working from the aerial view that affords me the big picture perspective.
